Have you ever spoke with a client and they say "we are a X type of site or company", and after looking at their site there is no way thats what they are portraying to the community. The old adage "you can't know where your going till you know where you have been", well in this case you can't know where your going until you know how your seen. We have all seen those websites that have pre-made professional website templates and offer them to you for crazy lowball prices, or even the ones that are more expensive and claim to be SEO optimized. We think that’s great as long as you don’t plan on being ranked well or if you don’t mind spending hours of time, that should be spent on your business, trying to squeeze the content and graphics into a design that was not made specifically for your business needs, wants, and goals. I spoke to a prospect today day that was with a large SEO firm. Almost 1/3 of the amount their contract paid to the SEO firm was for – account management. “Oh I don’t mind paying for account management”, the prospect said. “I can call them every week if I need to and tell them how angry or concerned I am about my lack of natural rankings and they always pick up the phone.
